Info
‘Soul of a Movement: Queer Nation’ is an online platform built around a stylised map of the UK and Ireland, populated by video submissions from LGBTQIA+ people from all walks of life, responding to the question: “What is Pride in 2020?” Created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first ever Pride march (which took place on June 28th 1970) this virtual world features a constellation of markers, each one corresponding to a short film submitted by a member of the public. Based on a concept by Gareth Pugh and Carson McColl, the platform was designed by digital artist Jon Emmony, and created in collaboration with web designers Rifke Sadleir and Daniel Baragwanath.
